Diane Logan, PhD, CSAC

Dr. Logan earned her Ph.D. from the University of Washington and completed her postdoctoral training at the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies at Brown University. She provided integrated behavioral health care and coordinated substance use services at West Hawaii Community Health Center from 2015-2020, when she opened her own practice offering clinical and consultation services. She has provided clinical trainings throughout the U.S. on issues related to substance use assessment and treatment. Dr. Logan has secured federal grant funding for substance use research (National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism) and clinical endeavors (Health Resources and Services Administration, Hawaii Community Foundation). She has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters related to alcohol and other drugs. Her passion comes from translating research findings into practical and helpful clinical tools. Dr. Logan is serving terms as the HPA President-Elect (Hawai‘i Psychological Association) as well as the HIPA President (Hawaii Island Psychological Association).
