Dr. Janet Thomas is a Clinical Psychologist practicing in Kapolei, Hawai’i and is the co-owner of Sakura Center for Psychological Assessment and Therapy. The practice has been open since 2018 and provides a combination of psychological assessment and therapy services with a primary focus on assessment. It has been a long-term goal of Dr. Thomas to open a private practice and provide services to individuals and families in need. With over 13 years of providing therapy and assessment here in Hawai’i, she is very passionate about serving the community and providing a much needed services. Dr. Thomas also has many years of practice related to crisis intervention, social work, domestic violence, and child and youth services.

Dr. Thomas specializes in assessment and therapy related to learning disabilities, developmental disorders, ADHD, Autism, and other behavioral/emotional concerns. She is invested in offering a collaborative approach to both testing and therapy and strives to provide comprehensive, competent, and valuable assessments and services that are tailored to each individual in order to ensure their needs are being met. Psychological/neuropsychological assessment can have a very positive impact on the happiness, satisfaction, and success of individuals. This is what drives Dr. Thomas and motivates her to focus on assessment and provide this needed service to the community.
