Michelle has always been interested in people’s life stories and enjoys connecting with people in deep and meaningful ways. She respects people’s individual life experiences and values their truth and authenticity. She enjoys the science of human behavior and, in that way, is observant.

She is the Health & Wellness Counselor at Carden Academy, working with the communities’ children and families, and has a private psychotherapy practice as well. She is interested in group psychology and financial therapy and has spoken about these subjects at numerous professional conferences across the U.S. over the past several years.

Michelle is a Hawaii State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Nationally Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP), Business & HR Manager & Financial Therapist, Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), Clinical Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA) and Treasurer and Founding Member of Hawaiian Islands Group Psychotherapy Society (HIGPS)

Though helping others gives meaning to her life, Michelle sincerely believes that every client is a gift to her in some way. She has enjoyed being a resident of Upcountry Maui for the past 36 years, where she raised her children, and where she enjoys reading, watching movies, walking in nature, and spending time with family and friends.
